P2-boot submersible

Yes, it happened for real. I fell into the sea bringing a P2 in my pocket. It was a low budget job and was not including insurance. I washed it immediately in fresh water and let her rest for three days in a warm environment. Then i inserted it in my laptop and she worked again! But at the moment of opening the content folder it blocked the pc and hasn't been working since. Suggestions?
P.s. Please feel free to use irony but not indulge on it.

I think you would have had better luck rinsing and submerging the card in 100% pure alcohol.

The alcohol would displace the water, which causes corrosion and leaves deposits (especially sea water). Pure alcohol doesn't cause those problems and evaporates without residue. The downside is that alcohol can attack some finishes and even act as a solvent, but electronics are unaffected, and the finish would be the least of my worries on a card that goes inside the camera or a PC.

I just came home after winning the world cup (soccer), i plugged the p2 into the laptop (i do it every 20 minutes since the dive) and heard the celestial din don of the pc recognizing something entering inside.
Downloaded the footage ok, put the p2 in the camera, everything is working perfectly now. I think after that last penalty it's starting a new era.....
Anyway i should have use alcohol, i'm afraid i cannot count very much on this p2.
