problem with p2

I have a problem trying to use the P2 format, attempting to pass information from the system, or export from eduis p2

said that write-p2 are protect.

I need to return to the P2 unformation to repair a clip and need to use the P2 format from the laptop,in order to record in loop.

double check the little write protect tab on the p2 card is not clicked. Orange means it is write protected. Slide the little lever and you should be able to format again.

Of course the protection tab is free. the problem persists even on PC, Mac, with the camera on usb or firewire device.
p2 format can not format them, gives an error of i / o
Edius can not export to P2 directly.
Anyone know if the camera menus block write-cards?
