P2 Arbitrator Card

[Pariahgrinch]

Did this P2 card just hit the streets? Anyone see a need? From what I gather it's the card they should have made in the first place and are now dinging you an extra $300 for it.

No, Arbitrator is an old name that preceeds the P2 system. They were available in capacities less than 4GB, none of which are supported by P2 cameras.

Just googled it. "Arbitrator" appears to be a trade name that Panasonic is using for the security/law enforcement industry. The Arbitrator products use regular P2 cards, so anything that says "arbitrator" on it should (I guess) be cross-compatible with the P2HD camcorder lineup.

No, I did not Google it. I've worked with Arbitrator cards before.
