P2 and the ExpressCard

The Pcmcia card/cardbus slots will eventually be replaced by the ExpressCard slots in most laptops, probably as early as H2 2007. (Lenovo /IBM T43, Toshiba tecra M3 already carry both slots). It may also be around this time that the P2 cards(and compatible cameras like the HVX200) are very popular.

I can think of P2 card readers for laptops starting 2007. Is there a migration path for the P2 cards to the express card format, considering the obvious benifits of the ExpressCard?
