P2 And Matrox Rtx2

I'v been researching the Matrox RTX2 card for real time editing and HD monitoring of P2 MXF files shot on the HPX500. Does any of you guys have the RTX2 and are editing your p2 footages on Premiere CS3 with this card? How did it work out? What about footages shot with 1080p or 720p? Is the card able to read and display 1080p on the HD monitor? Matrox doesn't list 1080p/720p as compatible formats. I was just wondering if that's the cheaper alternative card to go with. Inputs of your experiences will be much much appreciated. Thank you.

We had the RTX2 but moved to the Axio as the RT does not handle 1080 nor does it handle DVCPRO 50.

We have AXIO and work great, we don't have problem with this format, performace are excellent!
