P2 and FCP HD

Hello folks,

I was just wondering if I need FCP 5 in order to edit the content from a P2 card. Can I do that with FCP 4.5?

I think that reading the video from a P2 card is a new feature for FCP5. However, the codecs are in FCP4.5, so if you could convert from P2 to a standard mov file, you could edit on an older FCP.
