Hey everybody, I am selling myP-Clix unit and cable for a Nikon D90 DSLR. I have since sold my D90 so I have no further use for this device. The unit can be used with just about any DSLR, but you'll need a camera-specific cable if you want to tether the unit and the camera together. If you don't want to tether them directly, there is an ir led on the top which can control your camera just like a remote control. The dedicated camera cables can be purchased directly from the maker of the Pclix at this URL: https://www.pclix.com/shopping/
A bit about the actual unit and it's purpose:
If you have a DSLR and you want to get into shooting timelapse movies, what you need is a P-Clix unit. The P-Clix is a very small device called an Intravalometer which basically takes a single photo at whatever interval you set it to. You can then drop these photos into your Non-Linear Editor and create a timelapse movie. Since the still images are in the 10+ MP range, the resulting movie will be higher resolution than even the highest resolution HD!
At the following link you will see a video of timelapse footage I shot myself using a D90 and this particular unit: http://vimeo.com/606771
The PClix unit sells new for $140 and the camera cables cost between $30 and $40. At $80 for both, I am selling mine for less than half price of buying a new setup. As an added bonus, you can start shooting with mine TODAY!
The items are in perfect working condition and you are welcome to bring your camera by to try them out.
Email me at Karl151k AT Yahoo DOT com . If you PM me, I probably won't receive it because my box is full. Thanks!
