Own Leica and Contaxt Zeiss set.... Moving to a CP Zeiss Cine lens set? Should i?

I currently own a couple of lens:
Leica Summilux 35 F1.4, 50 F1.4 and 35 F2
Contax Zeiss 35 F1.4 and 85 F1.4 both from germany and a 25 2.8.

In a long term investment logic, im wondering myself if i should sell then to move to a "cine" Zeiss lens set..?
At the moment i have no need for a PL mount, considering the high price, will that make sense?

In a perfect world, a zoom will be my favorite option but fast cine zoom in the range i like are like you know very pricey...

What about Follow focus? If i keep my DSLR 35mm lens, could someone suggest me a follow focus what will be reliable and efficient and i could keep long?

Thanks

Thanks Samuel, not exactely what i was expected but interesting

Has someone here make the steps to sell the DSLR lens for the cine CP zeiss lens?

Could i ask your opinion as well about the choose of a follow focus and matte box ?
Both which i could keep for a long time, has to be versatile and solid...
chrosziel? Arri? Or mayhe hopefully something also well designed but cheaper?

Please share your experience! :)

Optically you will likely not see much of a difference going to Zeiss CP lenses as they are of the same optical design of the original Contax lenses, which was then used for the Zeiss ZF, which was used for the Zeiss CP. To get a mechanical use similar to the CP lenses, you could install step rings to give uniform hard fronts to each lens, and then install focus gears to each lens.

As far as choosing a matte box and follow focus, I would suggest you set a budget first.

All the Best!

Dave

Thanks you Dave!

I could allow the budget , i just want to check if it's worth it, or if there way to still get a very good value package without spending 2k for just 2 wheels and a a piece of metal :)
But i still want to buy something pro, as in my experience you are not necessary saving money in buying something cheap which either break, make you miss your shoot, are not an industry standard and so difficult to sell if you decide to ...

I really wish we could see a fast zoom 15mm to 80mm or more coming out, with a constant aperture of 2.8, full frame under 4 or 5k $ with a superb quality... Yes i know im dreaming, but if someone is able to propose this one day, just imagine how many it he will sell..

the link I posted has footage and detailed comments on both the Compact Prime set (v1 and v2), and the Duclos cinefied Leica set (including your 35 and 50) - that should get you in the ballpark as far as what to expect in terms of IQ - it's very long, but I think it's worth a read before spending this kind of money...

That's right. I will invest in a matte box and follow focus, it's here that's im not sure which budget i should allow like i tried to explain above...
Still waiting to hear good suggestions from you guys here...

Also a EVF is essential to me. The new viewfinder from RED is apparently very very nice despite being 3500$ but i guess it's not compatible with other camera isn'it? Do we know yet what kind of EVF we could plug on this Black Magic Camera?
