Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me on this. It's a pretty wierd problem.
I'm using the HVX and Final Cut Pro 5.04.
When viewing footage from 720 24PN in the viewer, sometimes an overexposed image will have some odd black noise at the edge of the frame. I tried to get a screen grab of it, but when I switch to my screen grab application, it disappears in the viewer window.
I'm assuming this isn't actually in the footage then, but a problem with FCP?
It only happens on overrexposed footage, and it always happens in the same place, so that made me rethink and possibly assume it IS the footage. Anyways, I'm lost here, please help!
I just want to post here first (as opposed to the FCP forum) to see if this happens in other NLEs or if anyone heard of this before.
thanks,
david
