so i was testing out the camera last night.. and i switched to 720/30 and changed to film mode and put it up to 60, filmed some slow mo and played it back on lcd and it worked.

Today i tried to do the same thing and it didnt play back in slo mo... is this normal or am i missing a step?

my workflow inside camera as follows
scene file 1
go to menu change rec mode to 720/30
change to film mode
change frame to 60
hit menu button and start recording

thanks

is that the only way to over/undercrank in PN? if i shoot my footage in 30p and have the over/under crank in PN will there be an issue when editing?

thanks for the help Barry

If you want the slow-mo or fast-mo effect availabe in-camera, you have to use pN. If you're using 30p for your main project and you want to insert slow-mo shots, shoot those in 30pN. Your editor will work fine with those.
