Hi everybody,I'm new to the forums and I'm a DVX100B user and I'm having some problems.A few weeks ago I white balanced my camera outside and everything onscreen became overexposed. Also when I tried fixing it and white balancing again the screen says something like whit balance already activated ++2 or something like that. What should I do about the outside overexposure and white balancing?Any help would be much appreciated,thanks....Jay M.

Do you have automatic settings on at all? That'll mess with it. Turning on zebra bars will tell you if anything is actually over exposed, and if it is just dial up the iris until it's not. Pressing white balance shouldn't cause that unless you bumped something else, but if it's just a little bit over exposed and you don't have zebra bars on it might just have been that you noticed the bright spots differently once the color was adjusted. Ensure that you are set to a manual white balance, either 'A' or 'B' channels on the WB switch. Then hold paper in front of it and press the button... should just change the color.

Use iris to control exposure...how exactly did you white balance? If you want to use your camera outside its better you use the presets
