I was just curious how i can output to a quicktime format from my 24P footage. (hopefully there is a way using adobe premier 2.0) i really want to preserve the 24P and not have to go 60i.

THanks

I don't have premiere pro, but i do have quicktime pro and in quicktime you can set the frame rate for 24 and make progressive video. if premiere pro is still compatible with quicktime then go into the settings and set the frame rate.

when you go to export out of premiere, you can choose to export a quicktime movie, so you can use that or output an uncompressed avi, take it into quicktime pro and export from there with your desired compression. either way just make sure you're exporting 24 (23.97, actually) you won't have to go to 60i.

going 24p to 60i is harder than keeping it all 24.
