output to DVx-100 -- help! REVISED

so -- I had wanted to know how to output from Avid Xpress Pro to the DVX100, but have since learned that it is not possible to to a digital cut from Avid Xpress Pro if you're working in 24p AT ALL (to the DVX100 - or anything else.) So -- does anyone know how you CAN output a 24p cut from Avid Xpress pro? thanks.
