Output timecode of the Odyssey 7q+ into Tascam HD P2

Hi, I am using the Odyssey 7q+ with the FS700 and I am very happy with it, especially with the LUTs for better skin tones I found in this forum.

I would like to know if it is somehow possible to output the timecode of the Odyssey 7q+ and jam-sync it with the Tascam HD P2 audio recorder. The Tascam has three different timecode inputs: LTC via XLR, word clock and video clock via BNC and S/PDIF. I tried out all the options available in the Tascam when connecting the LTC io from the Odyssey with the BNC in and did not get a timecode signal. I found a SDI to XLR timecode cable but I am not quite sure if this will be of any help since I do not know at all how a timecode signal is processed and output by the Odyssey. Is there any possibility to make this work or is this complete hoax?
Thank you
Marc

Could somebody please tell me if the question is too vague or too dumb or is there just no possibility to jam-sync the Tascam HD P2 with the Odyssey7q+ ?
Thank you
Marc

The timecode port on the Odyssey7Q+ is an In/Out (I/O) port. That means that when the timecode menu is set to accept timecode through that port it is an input, and when timecode is coming in from a video source or is generated within the Odyssey7Q+ the port is an output. However, due to the start/stop nature of the timecode from cameras and the way the Odyssey7Q+ is designed, a cable connection between the Odyssey and the recorder must be maintained. Do not plug in for a moment to get sync and then unplug.
