Output from DVX to external VCR

I should know how to do this (I've done it before) but can't make it work now. I read the manual (I actually knew where it was) but nothing is recording. Can anyone hellp me out? Thanks.
 
Hook up your RCA cables from your DVX to your VCR's in section. You'll probably have to adjust the channel on your VCR to like Line 1 or 2 or input 1 or 2 and then you just hit record on your VCR and play on your DVX.

It was the switching to channel one which I was forgetting -- brain farts are hell.

BTW: I did use search before asking for help.
 
haha, I know how that goes. But at least you managed to fix what was preventing you from recording.
