Out of the Box HPX-170 Question

What I'm using the HPX-170 for:

I'm using a 16mm projector to project into my HPX (it uses a special condenser lens) the signal then travels through the camera uncompressed (or in theory it will), through a blackmagic capture card, to a computer.

I'm considering buying the Black Magic Decklink Extreme which has the capability to capture 4:4:4

My question:

Once I get this all set up, it's my understanding that the signal that is sent to the capture card will bypass the camera's compression pushing a full 1920x1080 uncompressed image through.

If that is true, then what about the color space? Would the color space also be uncompressed pushing a 4:4:4 signal through?

Or is there something that limits the color space in the HPX-170 to 4:2:2 no matter what?

Another way of asking would be: When the image hits the sensor I would imagine that that each pixel has the capability to capture an individual color. So at what point does that get limited to 4:2:2? Can the signal leave the camera still retaining its 4:4:4 color space?

What sort of condenser lens are you using? Have you previously recorded with it? If so, how's the quality of the image?
Thanks!
