Out of Storage preparation

I'm pulling my DVX-100a out of it's Pelican box after about a year.

I prevously shot about 100 hours on it since I bought it, never cleaned the heads.

Any ideas on what I should do before I start shooting? I'm more of a film maker than cinematographer, so I'm quite novice; even stupid things to you would be important to me.

just shoot, 100 hours is not that much and in a box (dry place), nothing happens.

I would run the standard head cleaning tape through it as per the proper procedure. It certainly wont hurt to do it..........so why not?
