Many times, the 1080p in the camera is great as well all the way from 23.9 to 60p mode. The 200 mode I havent tried just yet.

When I said its the best camera we have used that includes the RED EPIC, while the RED is an amazing creature of a camera and I bet the dragon is as well, for us the small size and weight wins, but yes the EPIC footage is a few levels above this camera for sure. I was talking more about the whole package and not just image. If image wise is what we are rating, it would be in the top 5 for sure, just had to make that clear so people dont go crazy.

Our GH4 has been out on a job but just got it back and took it out to the San Diego Zoo today to just go have fun and test some things out. Here are some 4K grabs.

It really is an amazing camera for what your paying, there are a few problems but I see that with every camera out there.

We posted our GH4 review a few weeks back now and seems most people liked it. If you haven't seen it head on over to our site to check it out! One of the things we see people are asking us is can the GH4 do action sports. Yes and No, but more yes then no. As an action sport based company we are finding ways to make it work, and when its right it works great. We will be doing a blog post soon on how we are using it. So far our thoughts are the same, we love this camera and its really making us enjoy shooting what ever it is we are doing. Here is shot of a surfer getting crashed on. Still Frame that is cropped a bit. 45mm lens on AFC at 2.8.

That brings back memories. I can remember shooting rolls and rolls of Kodachrome at the San Diego zoo.

Small update with our camera, its still amazing to us. Really is proving to be a great buy overall. There are some things like Low Light that arent great and learning how to get the best out of the AF system but it can be done. Our site is going be going under a redesign soon and when it goes back up we will have much much more GH4 based content and blog post about things like the AF and how it works for us for Action sports. Here is a shot we got this past week using the Oly 45mm lens. The photo is super croped and is only around 5 megapixel and still holds a ton of data and is sharp.
