Our Barona Video Contest Entry - Brainstorm#11

Hey All,

We (DTC Productions) did an entry for a video contest that one of our local Casinos was having (Barona Casino)... "One of those things they do so they can promote their casino using user generated content?" you ask... yep... anyway. We decided we needed the money (and thought it would be fun to do something easy... we'll it turned out it wasn't as easy as we thought but...) so we made this little screwball comedy called Brainstorm#11 and got in the FINAL ROUND's TOP 5!!!

Shot over three days (2 in garage & 1 exteriors)
Contest had a 2min max, we cut about 1:30, sooo... there will be an extended cut down the road, mostly for the cast to enjoy.
 
Hi. Found your post so I thought I would chime in.

My friends and I made the "Steve is Numero Uno" video that is also in the top five. I saw your video and I like it. Well done.

I was actually trying to find some info on the contest rules. I think I remember reading that the top 5 finalists get $1000 each. But now I can't find the rules anymore. Has anyone from barona contacted you about collecting your prize yet?

Sorry for the late reply I've been busy. Yeah Someone from Barona called a week ago to tell me we got the 1k and after we send them a tax form they will cut us a check. So yeah I'm sure after taxes it will be 700 bucks... still pretty sweet.

Great job on your Steve is Numero Uno. If I wasn't voting for mine I'd vote for yours (seriously). I loved the "So then, would you say you lose sleep" and then his reaction. Great stuff.

Also, I know the video is cheesy but... no comments?... come on, I know it could be better, let's hear it (as I cringe in fear at what is to come:cheesy:)
