Other than filmmaking - what are your interests?

I'm wondering how many of you actually find a way to intersect your other interests with your interest in filmmaking - or do you keep them seperate?

I know some of you do (Stephen for example shoots a lot of fly fishing based material).
I produced a (sort of) cooking show, which was a lot of fun for me because I enjoy cooking myself.

I got into shooting to document what friends and I do on skis and mountain bikes.

So the only 'balance' I have to achieve is convincing people to wait until I've got the tripod setup. :D

I'm in desperate need of a hobby .I've been posting here like there is no tomorrow.
Love to draw but lately I've been doing more rough storyboards, which doesn't count ofcourse. If there is one thing I miss is looking @ a movie without trying to figure out how it was done .
Maybe I should take up cooking , I Love to eat.

I used to be a professional paintball player. That was a few years back. Division 2 on a sponsored team. We played in some pretty big events on the east coast in New York. I love getting paid to run around and shoot people. (Well - more finesse then just running).

I used to swim competitively too. Now I sit on my ass.

I'm a private pilot as a hobby, just small single engine aircraft but I love about anything involved with aviation including severe weather. I went tornado chasing this spring with my hvx. I'm also into boating, muscle cars, scuba, traveling. I'm kind of a gear head, I'm in the process of putting a small 500 HP turbine jet engine into a 427 shelby cobra kit car.

Let's see now....

Motorcycle riding. Long distance. Like Florida to Minnesota (Ocala to Duluth) in 24 hours. Iron Butt Association member.

Woodworking. Making furniture and such.

Bee keeping. Had three hives in my back yard. Had to give it up due to a hysterical woman two houses over.

Flying. Ultra Lights these days. But maybe that doesn't really count since I used to be an airline captain.

Computers, got five of them within reach from the chair I'm in. I also got 7 Cisco routers and a handful of (mostly) Cisco switches within reach. But I'm in IT now, so that probably doesn't count either.

Science is always great. I like to read about it. I also like to read science fiction. Heinlein and Asimov are re-read once every year or three.

Dogs. I must like dogs since I have rescued 5 of them, and let them live here in my house. Big ones; an English Mastiff and a Great Dane, a pit bull mix, and two smaller mutts. The smallest one was born in the pound. She's the only one we know the age of for certain. She was born 9/11/01.

Reading Clive Cussler, Star Wars EU, and Michael Crichton...

getting days for my 100 Ton Boat Captains License.

Driving my car to random places

I enjoy sex a lot though don't get to have it as much as I'd like.

I also enjoy girl watching.

Eating is fun too.

I love discussions in various different topics: with a good drink, gattering a group of friends and discuss current affairs is great.

Love music.

And as for stress relieving, I love playing soccer, as well as I love go kart racing. Nothing fancy, really...

I like writing - oh, wait...does that count?

I like history. I like other people (well, some)

I like philosophy, too. I am writing a book on the social hierarchy/politics right now. Kind of related, I suppose.
