Other DVX owners covering GOP protests in NYC?

Hello all,

This is not a paying job. What I was wondering is if there are any other DV filmmakers, preferably DVX shooters, planning on shooting the GOP protests in NYC? I'm going to be shooting 24Pa, with the 16:9 adapter, one man band, run & gun. I'd like to propose a collective in order to share footage on the events that perhaps we didn't get, but wish we had. For example, I'm going to be there from SAT-WED, but I'm wanting footage from the prior THU, from the mock war crimes tribunal. Nobody else is planning on covering this? I simply can't believe that. No matter your politcal bent, this is going to be an event that may yield some of the most important footage of our times - and you're not planning on being there? ???

I have a friend shooting on a DVX for a doc. on Democracy Now/ Amy Goodman. Please email me with your number, I'll call you, and give you her number. She is actually looking farely desperately for a boom op., maybe you guys can help each other out.
