OST 801 XLR adapter

Oscar Sound tech sells what they call a power supply XLR:

Power Supply-XLR is designed for use with our lavalier microphones. It is also
compatible with all other popular lavalier microphones. The audio output contains an
XLR 3-pin connector.
It does not operate on internal battery, external phantom power
from the connected source is required.

In fact it appears to be merely an adapter that you can have terminated in any sort of connector you want with your pigtails. Total cost $75.

I am about to purchase 2 801's with Sennheiser locking pins. However, my question is if I can simply use one of these two adapters which are far less expensive if I need to go XLR:

for $10:

for $25:

Neither of these are expressly for Sennheiser locking pins, but I have forgotten if a simple 1/8" female is enough, or if the Senny's are actually wired differently. Additionally, I am wondering if the OST "power supply-xlr" has some kind of power conversion in it that these might not have....

Any thoughts? Anyone tried either of these other solutions?

The $10 and $25 adapters would not work. The OST 1/8" to XLR 'adapters' are Phantom Power transformer adapters, which convert high voltage (Phantom Power configuration) to low voltage 'bias current' (aka, Plug-in Power) that most lav mics need. So you must also have Phantom power available on your mixer, camera or recorder.
