Oceanside. Long story.

Cut together a 2 minute video complete with score (Acid :P ) and couldnt get it uploaded for the viewing pleasure today. My wife wanted to see it so I sent her a 4Mb email windows file (from an 18 Mb 2 minute video.) I get home and on her laptop the video looks way too dark in a bad way and not at all like it did on my computer at the office. I wanted to share the grabs anyway and had to adjust each grab to a somewhat acceptable brightness level.

Yes, I am going for a high contrast/crushed black/over saturated image. Just thought they looked cool in a flip book kind of way. If I can get it uploaded tomorrow I will.

Im not looking for any feedback unless you want to chime in. Just sharing as usual.

I'm kinda bummed though. The difference in the look of the foootage is like its underexposed by '8000 Stops' from my office computer to my home (Dell Laptop) computer. Which makes me ask...

Are these too bright for you guys? Or is my work computer too bright?

I'm satisfied with the final cut; its just a sucession of compositions mostly with some minor blurs/fades/transitions in post to make it a little more visually candy like. But damn it, I cant afford a real 'PRO MONITOR' and am wondering which one is right on: my computer or my wifes computer.

Sigh.......

But I am digging the the ektachrome/reversal/bleachy bypassy thingy. :P ::)

... what can i say.. very very very nice.. these look baked to perfection here. really highly stylized, and i like every bit of it. please dont forget to post us the vid. youve got a real eye for colors and contrast. it all melts down to this really pro look thats certainly candy for the eyes.
