GH2 OSD is being recorded to the clip - GH2 with BM Hyperdeck Shuttle

Must be in here somewhere!

I have been doing some tests with the GH2 and a NEW Blackmagic Hyperdeck Shuttle ( off board recorder).

Recording by using the HDMI output and the OSD is being recorded to the clip!
ie. all the data and icons on the EVF and Viewfiner is overlayed on the image in the clip.

Cant find how that is turned on and off in the menus. (Its easy to find on my AF102)

Help please.
 
Make sure you go into the menus and turn off "Touch Q Menu." Once you do that just press the "Display" button on the back of the camera. You'll see the date and time flash by on the bottom of the screen (outside the recorded area) and then it will go away. You should now have a clean screen.

I did wonder if this was the only way to do it!

Bit of a PITA because it then means one is shooting with out the benefit of the information.

Oh well. I guess I did know what I was getting into by using a DSLR for shooting video but the reality is...the Hyperdeck is for my AF102 and is unlikely to be used on the GH2 much..if ever at all.
