Greetings all.
Happy day!. The local panasonic dealer here in Orlando Florida got a unit in today. He said it was a "Red" Unit whatever that means.. and he's going to be using it as the in store demo unit. Next week he's going to be starting to demo the HVX along side the Canon, JVC and the Sony as well.
I got the idea to check with the local smaller vendors from this forum and it seems to be paying off. I also like the customer service options you get when the vendor is local.
For all Florida people who want to check them out, the vendor is Encore Video. The phone number is 407-327-9006. Ask to speak to Ross and tell 'em that Justyn sent ya. I think I'm going over there on Tuesday or Wednesday to push all the buttons and kick the tires on the beast. It would also be great to set up a Florida users group for networking potential with this camera.
No reason not to be on the bleeding edge of this technology especially since my XL1 has dead pixels and my GL1 is toast as well. Time to jump ship.
