Original scene file settings: dvx100a ?

I have changed a few things an the settings in F5 and I recently compared it to the tape I shot on day 1 and noticed the default settings were A LOT nicer than what I did to it (maybe line detail?) but I don't want to reset it, I want to go one setting at a time and determine the culprit that's making noise/grain... so I noticed a posting for the HVX original settings, but cannot find the dvx100A settings anywhere, there is an outdated dvx100 list at eyejazz.com but that's not good enough... anyone? dvx100a factory settings?
 
Thanks horse, but as mentioned in my post, those are for the dvx100, not the dvx100a, which has more and different menu items... anyone?
 
This is in your manual but anyway....

Fire the DVX up
Hit menu button> select scene file > go right through all the settings til you see SAVE/INIT > select it > new menu comes up with two options Save and INITIAL select initial > next screen says

INITIAL ?

NO
YES

> Select YES

Your scene file is back to default.
 
I don't want to reset, I want to go through one setting at a time and analyze my changes, not revert... I just want to find a list of the original settings... again, anyone?
 
Aah sorry..... Anyway couldnt you write your current settings, reset then move back to your current with each until your pic becomes not what you want? Dont you usually go for a particular look when shooting different things?
 
welll, I hesitate to reset since I am in the middle of a doc, and I saw someone posted a chart of the HVX scene file settings, and i hoped someone had the data for the dvx... anyone?
