Original DVx100 For Sale

I've got an original 100 that I want to sell with very low hours. (Less then 50) I have used it on one vacation and some weddings but mostly for the kids b-days. Most of the time this camera has been sitting in it's case. It is in excellent shape. The first day I got it I put soft velcro on sides and top to protect as well as to attach my wireless mics. I also put black gaffers tape on all the edges to stop any wear or nics that might happen.

I have two batteries... (original which is about worthless :o) and a 2800 milliamp one. I also have all the accesories that came with it.

I was thinking about putting it up for sale on ebay but thought I would post here first. I'm looking for somewhere between $1800-$2200 for it. (My ebay name is also heisest if you want to check me out)

I guarentee that it will not be DOA or money back. And while it works great... I'm selling as I just want to get the 100b.

I will post some pics about it in a few days if there is interest.

Do you know how hard it is to get a close shot of the lens to show whether there are scratches??

Is there anything else you want to see?? I must admit that I cannot find the lens cap. I think it is around because I remember taking it off for our christmas videos. (When I find it I'll send it along... or take $30 off the price) And I don't have one of the XLR covers. That I know is gone.

I have already had one person mention they would pay $2000 for it shipped. If others are willing to pay more for it let me know. I would take payment via paypal... or if you wanted to send a certified check I would ship out once I got it.

This is where I sold my Canon XL online to buy this camera. He wanted it shipped overnight and I paid for UPS to do so but it didn't get there on time. (even though he says it did) He was a bit miffed and I talked to UPS who paid me the $75 for shipping it overnight since it didn't get there... and I sent him a check for the full $75. He was happy at least to get the money. :)

It comes with the standard mic attached to the camera... I've a pic of it and yes it does shoot the 24p. I've looked at it (switched it over to it) but have not used it as I've never had the need to take my output to film.
