Ordered the Redrock M3 yesterday.

Im interested in the M3 as well. from the footage on their site it's really crisp. Im not crazy about the style of it. It looks a bit to aerodynamic to me. I guess if it could fly it would be very beneficial, lol. In all honesty, I could care less what the outside looks like, my only concern is the footage it produces, it it's nice from what I can tell.

The M2 encore is great with only 1/2 stop, this says 1/4 stop loss. Seems hard to believe it can perform to those stats just, but we'll see. I think when pairing it with the EX3 it's going to be beautiful. Post as soon as you can. thanks

Yea the shape of it looks really spaced out! But its nice that it is one big piece of solid adapter, with no stuff that can get missaligned.

Yea the 1/4 lightloss sounds to good to be true. Just like when the first M2 came out they stated that the lightloss was at approx 1.5 stops or so, I say that it is about 3-4 stops! And the vignette free image was was really not that vignette free!

So, I think that it has the same lightloss as the M2 Encore, I would LOVE to see a comparision between them!

M3 users--how's it going?

I own an EX1(love the EX1) and want to buy the M3.
anyone running around with the EX1(or EX3) M3 combo with more feedback/reviews/pictures?
thanks in advance!

I'm interested in thoughts as well...I want to see some no BS full-rez grabs...and some quicktimes I can view via a link, NOT vimeo. Somebody with some server space...give us 720p if you can or make the vimeo downloadable. I want to see what this stuff really looks like.

I want to see some ungraded and untouched full-resolution screenshots from footage shot with this thing...preferably lit well. It was an expression...lol.

Agreed. So excited to see a frame grab if anyone with the adapter is willing to share. I'm particularly interested to see a wide angle shot (18 & 25mm) to see the vignetting status of the m3.

Surprised Redrock Micro haven't been more forthcoming with examples. You'd think after all that time spent developing it they'd wanna show off all the features they list on their site. Footage examples are really few and far between at this point. Would especially love to see a comparison between it and the Letus Ultimate.

I don't understand why more don't share (especially the companies) like you said. How hard is it to upload a few files? It's tough to make decisions to buy things (even cameras on the market) without some RAW footage to play with, and it seems most companies keep it to a minimum on how much they let you see or download. I would spend a couple bucks and really show people what each camera I developed can do, but I guess they make their money without doing that...if they think they'd sell more I'm sure they'd do it.

I think the look it gives to the bokeh and overall image is the same as the M2 encore...
