or Sony RX10: What we've been looking for from Panasonic?

Honestly, with our growing production schedule (read, demand for more and different cameras) I decided this was not the time to make major new investments (like the C300) only to regret it a few months later.

This is a different time than any I can remember, And I've run a creative/production shop for quite a while.
I ended up picking up and RX10 and BMPCC to cover the additional demands and I'm just waiting till things shake out this summer.

In the meantime, both of those minor investments paid for themselves in a day each and are delivering beautiful images for their purposes.
The RX10 is just the most fun little camera I've produced with and at Natural -3 -3 -3 delivers amazingly "natural" colors and skin tones, the glass is wonderful.
What it does for $1200 is just ridiculous in professional terms.

Same thing with a totally different style of camera with the BMPCC - ridiculously good imagery for next to nothing from a professional standpoint.
A much more filmic image but with none of the RX10's many production features.

They're exactly as I hoped.
Two inexpensive, little cameras: one ideal for quick doc work the other ideal for set work/TV spots.
