Hello Everyone,
today we posted our first video in what we plan to be ongoing series about tech issues most commonly encountered and discussed on filming sets and forums. In 30 years of experience I have worked with very sophisticated test equipment as well as was forced to use common sense and common tools and equipment to determine and solve problems with lenses and cameras so the show could go on...
The plan is to do our best to share my extensive experience and communicate it to the camera/lens owners in the most clear and understandable way possible. The first few will probably be not as slick as I would like to so please comment and ask questions at will:

Thank you Gents. It will get better I promise. We have learned a lot from shooting these. We are already done with the lens back focus test on special tester. That should be coming promptly. On the bench shimming, back on camera to reverse the roles, parfocality (contentious one I know ;-). MTF performance. These are all topics we are planning on next. anything else?
