optex vs. pana

Hi

I wondered if anyone had compared results with using the pana anamorphic adapter vs. the optex?

(The OpTex Anamorphic lens supplied with the 72mm adapter ring is suitable for use with the Panasonic AG-DVX100 cameras: - so says the advert.

I have neither but I was guess it's not as good as the Pana just because the Pana lens was made for the DVX and is 72mm. The OpTex needs a step-up ring to go from 58mm to 72mm. That's a pretty large step-up.

Like I said though, I have neither. It would be nice to hear from someone that's done a side-by-side comparison.
