Opinon on Horror Film Trailer

Hello!
I just finished editing two different versions of a trailer for the short film I am working on and was curious as to what style is preferred..

Also, the first one features credits (one of those being mine) and my wife pointed out that she though it was obnoxious to feature information that did not relate to the film industry but to the game industry in the trailer.

I am curious as to what you all think of that idea...I see her point but I felt that there is visiblity in the other work...

Id say a mix of the two.

The first had WAY To many black screens with words, i got bored watching it basically.

The second one flowed way better but it didnt introduce anything, and i thought i was watching a very short film instead of a trailer.

I say keep your credits, i dont find anything wrong with listing game credits, (non-gamers wont realize it anyway), but i would put the session 9 credit ahead of the game ones (great movie btw).

Id say cut it to the credit screens overlaying action shots, then only 2 or 3 black screens and use the 2nd trailer with the voice over etc...

JonE5, thanks for the feedback...I would aggree with you-the first one is entriely too long with too much fading credit screen action...
I will take a pass and merging the two and cutting to 1:15...2min seems far too long.

I found editing the trailer to be far more difficult than I imagined...I may hit up an outsider to watch and give me a list of the most important moments. That way, I can detach myself from the entirety of the film.
I prefer the second with some narration but I am getting feedback as expected where people are on different sides..
