MUSIC VIDEO: Opinion's needed on new video idea!

Hey forum.
It kind of makes me mad not seeing alot of people not out shooting video's because they don't have the best of the best equipment. Mostly beginner's.
So i came up with an idea/concept i'd like to shoot. What do you think of shooting an entire music video using only an Iphone 4g and a 3gs. Sure the quality isn't going to be top notch material but do you think it could work if done right to prove a point to young filmmakers that you can make do with what you got instead of saying i need a better cam, the lighting sucks etc etc!
I'll also use a Sony FX7 to shoot angles of two of us using the phones to make the video, just to show viewers the idea.
Whats your opinion on this idea before i move forward with the film?
 
Well if the content is compelling, and the cinematography good, you could make a point. Ive never felt held back by a camera, so Im on your side with this insofar as if someone has a great story to tell.
 
this has already been done multiple times and to my knowledge is not anything unique or compelling. most notably a camera phone was used to shoot a high budget short film starring the guy from slumdog millionaire.
