Operating Manual for the AF100

The manuals are useless...Really, I bet you can fine much more information here on the AF100 boards.
I'd wait for the REAL manual...Barry's next book!

Agreed. If you havent worked in depth with scene files and want to stretch the camera within usable boundaries - Im sure you'll find all that in there plus more.

Still, the manuals are usually good for revealing little limitations that might be good to know beforehand. Plus, I think we'd all pay close attention to ANYTHING AF100 related from Panasonic!

Actually I had Operating manuals of both my DVX and HVX before I purchased them.

It was well worth knowing something about them before I bought them,, had them or used them.

Doubt Barry will have a book out anytime soon... but agree it will probably have additional valuable information.

Depends on what you mean by 'soon". Before the camcorder ships? Definitely not. Six months after? Definitely long, long before then. So 'soon' is a relative term.

Soon ...to me is ..."now...RIGHT NOW"

I am kind of compulsive and impatient relatively

Well, it won't be THAT soon... :D

So I will go for a First Edition pdf version.... that will suffice until you get your act together.

If you spent less time filming babes and got onto a word processor..job would be done already.
