Hi all
I came across the "Open TV Network" the other day. Phil Hodgetts, who just might lurk here from time to time started it up.
I've got no connection with it other than being a user and a fan of the idea.
From what I have gathered so far, OTN is an RSS-based way to allow for downloads of your movie AND a way to collect some revenue for each download that is made. I have not heard of anything like this. URL = www.opentvnetwork.com.
To me, distribution and discovery are by far the largest obstacles to success. OTN could be another tool to help improve those two issues.
thx
