AbelCineTech is currently seeking a Junior Electronics Technician to join our service department.
This is a key position within the service department that requires performing electronic and mechanical repair as well as maintenance on a variety of equipment with concentration on Panasonic HVX200, Varicam, and HDX900, Sony CineAlta cameras and companion VTR¹s and monitors.
Requirements for the successful applicant:
· Completion of a 2 or 4 year accredited degree program in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
· Good experience repairing electronics to component level
· Experience in the field of video camera/ VTR and electronics repair.
· Experience with professional HD equipment and formats.
· Ability to read and understand electronic schematics and layouts.
· Ability to test and broadcast equipment including video and audio inputs/outputs, tape path, and colorimetry.
· Ability to work well with clients and department to hit deadlines
· Must be very neat, well organized and detail oriented
· Good oral and written communication skills
· Commitment, drive, flexibility and multi-tasking capability a must
· Basic computer competency is required.
