i just got a brand new dvx100b and when i opened it i misunderstood how to plug in the DC power adapter to the camera, i plugged the "plug" end of the cable into the camera and the "battery" end into the charger!

when i turned on the camera and pressed the eject button it just made a soft clicking noise!! aah!!! did i mess it up? i then plugged it in correctly and everything seems to work fine but what actually happened, did the camera get the wrong voltage or something?

worried and looking for recommendations. i just hope this isn't something that will crop up in a few months, like say just when the warranty runs out.

any comments appreciated.

OK I remember reading this [/B]IN THE MANUAL .... its a bit foggy right now cause its something I havent had to contend with yet.... you are supposed to plug it in that way if you want to recharge a battery inside the cam which is for something I cant remember right now.... and Im too hung over too read the manual. But its OK your camera still loves you.
