Only Stereo Mics work with the VaricamLT

I tried to attach a single channel mic today to the LT and just discovered that I can't. The only input that accepts a mic and provide 48V phantom power is the input1/2 and that one is a 5 pin XLR input. Inputs 3 and 4 (that are 3 pins XLR) are line level and not for mics. What to do to connect a mic with 3 pins XLR to the VaricamLT?
Anyone solved this problem?

5-pin to dual 3-pin Y-cable. Not that hard to make. Arri Alexa has the same problem.

I make and sell these all the time. Most other place charge an arm and a leg ($60 for a cable? Seriously?)

I have connected microphones to input 3 and 4 and used 48V phantom power. You can change the type of input in the audio settings and also turn the phantom power on and off.

You are right Milan. Just tried it and it works perfectly on input 3. That was very helpful. The Operating guide was not really descriptive.

You can get a single 3-pin to 5-pin adapter cable. I had one made and used to use it with my first P2 Vari. I had to run my old mono nat mic for a month or so, because the stereo mics were back-ordered.
