I'm soon going to send my film to print which will be sold on DVD in stores and online....since it's going to be compressed into mpeg2 for dvd i'm assuming that using an edl and online transfer isn't necessary...correct me if i'm wrong??
Not necesarry.
But if I were you I would contact the DVD shop who is going to master your dvd and asked them how they want the fillm.
You can master your own dvd project in Encore and then save it as a DVD volume or folder and give that to the shop.
