One thing I hate about indy film culture . . .

Now a good title is Jurassic Park. Or Broken Arrow. Or Terminator. They get to the point and deliver the goods with out misleading.

I think those are terrible titles. In fact, most films today have terribly obvious titles. There's hardly any art or meaning in titles anymore.

imo, the "straight to the point" titles are too dull. any title that doesn't stir a question, or point to something deeper, is a bad title. Broken Arrow in particular is tainted by the incessant explanatory refrain from the tv spots... "it's what we call it when we lose a nuclear weapon".

How did they get the name on there if its still in post?

Hey Aram,

For a feature, even a low budget indie, you announce in a trade magazine like Variety.

Then you can get your film in there before you are even shooting and it is updated until it is released, and thereafter.

There are tons of movies on there that are in post, in production, pre-production, or even just development.
