And that is people waiting just out of shot for you to finish taking your photo! Time and time I see out of the corner of my eye people waiting and indeed wondering why I am such a slow photographer!
And another thing I find when doing street filming, is the most interesting shot/situration occurs just after you stop! Ho Hum!!
 
Yes! Most annoying! But happens with DSLR or handheld camcorders. Staking out your territory with a tripod can help.
 
haha, the upside to it though is that you could set up,...

then take a step back like you:re doing something else, and people will carry on not knowing that you're still filming :D

the gh3's wifi remote link might be quite useful for that kind of thing.
 
Worse are the people actually in your shot who think you're taking a photograph and just stand there smiling, waiting for the flash to go off.

Doesn't make for very interesting footage.
 
yeah i take a step back too and pretend to do something else. you then get people who figure out its a video and go full retard infront of your cam ruining your shot =)

Yeah, I always do that. Pretend I'm looking for the lens cap or something.
The bonus is that you get people natural on film walking passed as they don't think you are doing anything
