Ok... so im new to premiere pro cs3 and have a question. There are certain parts of my video that i want to film in 24p, 30p, and some in 60i. different clips i want filmed in different modes and put into different timelines. can i put all of this together in one project? if so, how would i do it?

What if i want different footage captured to different timelines (ex. 23.97 or 29.97 timelines etc.) but in the end want it all together?

What would happen if i made part of a project on a 30fps timeline and another part of that project on a 24fps timeline and then combined the two together on one timeline...?

The main reason for this is that i like some filming modes for slow mode and some for fast mode. I am filming/editing a Snowboarding video that needs to be legit. I feel like im just missing something easy and im making this harder than it needs to be.

Basically im confused...Please HELP!

you can shoot 24PA if you want as well. as long as your using a 30p or 29.976 timeline, it will not do the pulldown. its pretty much automatic.

Well if you are doing 30p and 60i for slowmotion, then make a 24p (23.976) project and interpret the 30p as 24p and it should play slow automattically. You might have to run the 60i through something to make it 60p and then interpret it to 24p to get it play at 40% speed.

Basically, do the slowdowns first and they can all be on the same timeline.
