One Minute Short - Kino Invasion

We did this for the local Kino group here in Louisville. Our assignment was to create a short ID to promote the Kino concept.

In case anyone does not know, a Kino group is just a community of aspiring filmmakers who get together several times a year for various events. We have done a couple of 48 hour events where you get a secret ingredient and make a 5 minute short in only 48 hours. We have also done a couple of events where we had several weeks to complete a film using several ingredients. It is not a competition - it is simply a way of creating a community of people with similar interests who can learn from each other.

We don't yet have a website to speak of so I created a down and dirty MySpace page to host the film. I would appreciate any feedback - good or bad.

Mmm clip didnt show, I could hear it but not see it... Cool concept though, the kino thing. I'm thinking... can you colab with some of the other groups and do something bigger? like a feature length?

There aren't that many Kino groups yet. The one here in Louisville is only a year old. There is a really strong one in Madison Wisconsin. There are also groups in Canada, France and some other places.
