Hey guys
So I’m shooting a short in 3 weeks and the director is going to hire an EX1. I’m probably not going to get much time with it before hand, so I need some advice…
I’d like a nice contrasty image that doesn’t need to be colour graded. Not super contrasty but not something that looks washed out. So a slight crushing of the blacks and a nice roll off to white. Any recommendations for scene files?
Also we’re going to shoot some slowmo. Do you set shutter angle like 180 degrees or do you select 1/50 for 25p and 1/100 for 50p?
Would you shoot the entire short in 720p if we’re going to do one slomo shot? Or mix it with 1080p?
