One day only at B+H for a couple of OLY lenses.

I'll guess and say that the quality is probably very similar. However, the Panasonic probably has better focusing speed since it was designed with video in mind. The better deal may be the 9-18mm compared to the panasonic 7-14mm at half the price.

you'd be loosing out on OIS though. Not as critical for the wide, but probably handy if you are planning on any handheld work with the 14-140.

I got the Lumix 14-140mm kit lens with my GH1. While the Lumix is faster than the Olympus Micro 4/3 9-18mm in the14-18mm range, the Oly is superb from 9-14mm. It's also one of the few non-Lumix lens that works in AFC as well as AFS autofocus modes. I sold my 14-140mm and haven't regretted it since.
