Once and for all..what's the best way to shoot 16:9 with DVX?

Pester Panasonic to make a 16:9 version of the DVX. They're supposed to listen to us and give us what we want, right? People say it's the one fault with this camera. Just think, all these threads and all the trouble people go to have 16:9 would end. I would think DVXuser would come out with a shirt declaring it a holiday.

Personally I think they can improve the camera further by working to lower the noise even more and getting rid of that joystick button thing. I really hate that joystick button thing.

Well i've got a 100B so squeeze looks exactly how its gonna look later. Cropping sounds like a wierd idea to me.

Squeeze is just cropping and zooming for you, but it has to do it in real time, as opposed to using more time during a render to get the best crop/zoom possible. Plus, and probably more importantly, squeeze may cause you to actually do TWO resizings. Say you're going to publish to the web. Well, when you shoot squeeze, it crop/zooms for you to widescreen avi, but then later in post, you end up resizing again down to a web-based size. If you shot 4:3, you could have just done a single resize instead, and that will improve quality. Same thing also holds for film out I think.
