on switch very tight

Hello, my off and on switch is very tight on my dvx100b, like when i go to move it from the off position up to the on position it is very hard and it takes a lot of effort to get it to the on position. same from on to off.

So my question is are there any safe liquids that i could just drop in the crease of it to make it a little smoother?

would a little rubbing alcohol be safe?
 
There is a little button on the switch that you have to press while turning the switch. Just press harder on it.
 
I don't think that's it because i press that fairly hard. I'm really just wondering if there is anything that could kind of lube up the little track it swivels on.
 
It may be the mecanism, so I don't think that a liquid will help. Mine is ok and I got it since 5 years.

Maybe you can bring it for service.
 
I don't know maybe? But if i blow on it, it usually works leading me to believe that the track it swivels on is just dirty.

SOOO again my question is what cleaning solutions are safe to drip on it.

Seriously no one knows of a safe cleaning solution i can drop on my dvx that wont eat away at it or anything like that? That's all i need to know.
 
I don't know if anyone here know of a liquid to drop in the DVX because it's risky.

Just call a qualified service center and ask them.
