on-set offloading procedure

Does anyone have a fool-proof offloading procedure written up. We will be offloading the P2's with the HVX through a mac laptop -- FCP 5.04 -- and then back to our G5 editing station.

In any case, has anyone encountered problems with this editing procedure?
