On Screen Display...re: Timecode?

Is there a way to have my OSD from the camera viewfinder displayed on my TV or Monitor? I am mainly concerned with the Timecode as I can log tape faster. This is only till I get a deck. I mean I can use the flip out screen which I have been doing but I was just wondering if I could get the timecode to show up on a monitor or TV.

I think (don't have the cam in front of me) that you can choose that option in the display options menu.

Yes you can, there's an OSD option in the menu.
