On-Off Switch on DVX

Do you guys find it difficult using the on-off switch on DVX?
What I mean is, comparing to some other camcorders that I used, the on-off switch on DVX is a bit "hard" for fast action. Especially turning off. When I push the white buttton I also pressure the overall swich and then you can hardly move it. If I don't press hard - it will not move because I didn't push the white button. It seems I have to call someone with smaller finger to do it for me :)
 
That's what confuses me. I saw a couple of complaints on DVXUser that people found the on-off switch on DVX100 weak and easy to break.
I find it opposite (too hard).
The "u" part of the switch should be "n" shaped or flat, with white "safety button" easy to access. This way you still have prevention against accident on's and off's, plus, easier and faster handling.

Or maybe it's just me.
